On June 14, many Americans gathered to protest “No Kings Day” (Donald Trump as king). According to news sources it was a peaceful protest conducted in many major cities across America. Some of those in attendance were saying, “We don’t do kings in America,” another protester held a sign “Democracy Against Dictators.” I guess I have been out of the loop for a while, but the last time I checked America was an elective representative constitutional republic – not a democracy, and if I’m not mistaken “We the People” elected Donald Trump to the office of president – not king.
The truth is, without “kings,” God’s standards of justice, righteousness, and truth can no longer be upheld in America. Romans 13:1 states, “The authorities that exist have been established by God.” The Bible references many times how God appoints kings as the governing authorities over nations. In Daniel 2:21, the prophet said, “He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings” If God’s Word speaks truth (and it does), why hasn’t He raised up a king in America?
According to our Founding Fathers, He has, and it’s not Donald Trump. Our Founding Fathers were clear, “We the People” are the kings (specifically Christians) of America. In Webster’s 1828 Dictionary, Founding Father Noah Webster defined king as: “The chief or sovereign of a nation; a man invested with supreme authority over a nation, tribe or country; a monarch. Kings are absolute.” John Jay, the First Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, wrote in 1793: “The people are the sovereign of this country.” Signer of the Constitution Gouverneur Morris stated: “This magistrate is not the king. The people are the King.”
In America’s Constitutional Republic “We the People” are King, ruling indirectly, electing representatives who recognize our written constitution and acknowledge God as the source of our laws and unalienable rights. Since the “Kings of America” have relinquished their throne of righteousness to “Caesar” (government) and Donald Trump is officially the President (not King), maybe the “No Kings Day” was a success and protestors got what they wanted after all. If the God-appointed “Kings of America” don’t rise up and take back from Caesar what is God’s, our nation will face the same consequences ancient Israel experienced, “In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes” (Judges 21:25)
Let me also warn those who protested on “No Kings Day,” there is coming a King who nobody will be able to deny. His name is Jesus, and He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords! Do you know Him as your Lord and Savior? I pray you do!
The “Kings of America” led by the power of the Holy Spirit can change the spiritual atmosphere in our country by sending this letter out to those within their circle of influence. Keep in mind God’s Word is seed and is sewn into every letter “sent” out. “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11).
