Letter to the SCOTUS

Dear Justice _________________ :

I’m writing you today deeply concerned regarding a recent case that you declined to hear the appeal on. In the case of New Mexico v. Felix, the Tenth Circuit Court ruled against the public display of the Ten Commandments in Bloomfield, New Mexico. Your decision to allow the lower court’s decision to stand is unconstitutional. In the western world the Ten Commandments have always been considered the symbol of God’s moral law. The moral law is the foundation of the common law and for over two centuries Christianity has been recognized as part of the common law in America. The framers of the U.S. Constitution incorporated the common law into the U.S. Constitution in the Seventh Amendment.

Joseph Story, “Father of American Jurisprudence” and U.S. Supreme Court Justice, had this to say, “One of the beautiful boasts of our municipal jurisprudence is that Christianity is a part of the Common Law. There never has been a period in which the Common Law did not recognize Christianity as lying at its foundations.”

Early court cases in America also recognized Christianity as part of the Common Law in America. In 1824, the Supreme Court case of Updegraph v Commonwealth, 11 S. & R. 394 made this statement, “Christianity, general Christianity, is, and always has been, a part of the common law…. not Christianity founded on any particular religious tenets; not Christianity with an established church…but Christianity with liberty of conscience to all men.” Therefore, the public display of the Ten Commandments does not violate the “Establishment Clause,” it simply means Christianity “has so largely shaped and molded [America]” (quote – former Supreme Court Justice David Brewer).

Your honor, our nation has proudly displayed the Ten Commandments in our nation’s capitol, the U.S. Supreme Court and in hundreds of courthouses and civic buildings throughout America. My question is – how can you allow the Tenth Circuit Court to pass down a ruling not allowing the public display of the Ten Commandments when a carving of Moses holding the Ten Commandments is openly displayed in your courtroom? Your honor, I pray you and your colleagues would reconsider your decision.

I have a calling to educate, inspire and motivate the citizens of the USA to restore our Godly heritage. Therefore, I was compelled to write a short book called “The Bible is the Higher Law in America” that I would like you to read – see enclosed
