The Republican Party is Dangerously Confused

In 1796, George Washington gave his Farewell Address stating, “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.” The “indispensable supports” of “religion and morality” mentioned by Washington represents a foundation of faith in God and requires His indispensable support for sustaining our free nation. The Christian religion and God’s moral standards are the foundations of America’s civil government.

Why are our nations’ foundations of “religion and morality” crumbling? One reason, many pastors and Christians do not have a “foundation of faith in God” to hold our elected officials accountable to the power of God’s Holy Word.

In faith, let us Make America Godly Again! Copy and paste my letter and send it to your local Republican Party office or send me the email address and I will send it out.

God’s Word is sewn into this letter. In faith, I believe,“so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

The Republican Party is Dangerously Confused

Recently, Republican Caitlyn Jenner announced his run for California Governor. Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner an Olympic gold medalist suffers from gender dysphoria, or gender confusion. Jenner is in conflict between the gender God assigned him at birth and the gender he identifies with today. Let me clear up any confusion there might be about the gender issue. The Bible is the truth and gender was created by God, “He created them male and female” (Genesis 5:2), and “God is not the author of confusion” (1 Corinthians 14:33) – satan is! It appears the Republican Party shares in this confusion.

In 2019, while living in Florida, I warned Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart and State Senator Joe Gruters about aligning themselves with dangerous bills that would protect the LBGTQ community from discrimination. Balart’s support of HR5 and Gruters of SB438 (known as the “Equality Act”) are unconstitutional, immoral, and would persecute/criminalize Christians who do not affirm homosexuality and trans-sexuality! Repent you workers of iniquity!

God’s moral law is the foundation of the common law, and for over two centuries Christianity has been recognized as part of the common law in America. Joseph Story, “Father of American Jurisprudence” and U.S. Supreme Court Justice had this to say: “One of the beautiful boasts of our municipal jurisprudence is that Christianity is a part of the Common Law. There never has been a period in which the Common Law did not recognize Christianity as lying at its foundations.”

Preserving religious conscience was a priority to our Founders. Thomas Jefferson stated, “No provision in our Constitution ought to be dearer to man than that which protects the rights of conscience.” Yet today, approximately 44 percent of so-called conservative, constitutional Republicans believe employers do not have the right to fire a transgender employee who wears clothes to work matching their gender identity. Also, 65 percent of Republicans are in opposition to an employer firing a gay employee. Really! Don’t you know “Consciences of men are not the objects of human legislation . . . The state [does not] have any concern in the matter” – William Livingston, signer of the U. S. Constitution.

Repent and Make America Godly Again!

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil” Isaiah 5:20.

“I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.” -Thomas Jefferson
