RED FLAG WARNING!

If someone refers to something as a red flag, they are drawing attention to a problem or possible danger. A red flag is also a symbol of communism. It can indicate danger, warning, or cause for concern. In March of 2018, Florida Republicans sponsored and passed a bill “The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act.” The bill (SB 7026) includes dangerous “Red Flag Laws” which allow police to confiscate weapons from people who might be at risk of harming themselves or others. “Red Flag Laws” are unconstitutional. They violate a law abiding citizen’s First, Second, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Fourteenth Amendment rights, denying a person life, liberty and property, without due process of law.

In September of 2018, Republican Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart – Florida District 25 supported a bipartisan bill called “Protecting our Communities and Rights Act of 2018,” which supports “Red Flag Laws.” Congressman Diaz-Balart stated: “Florida is one of many states that has enacted a ‘red flag’ law, and provisions in this legislation encourage other states to follow suit.” Congressman Balart is the largest recipient of NRA campaign contributions among Florida Congressmen. However, the NRA isn’t happy with Diaz-Balart since he decided to distance himself from the pro-gun group to side with the Democrats to expand background checks and “Red Flag Laws.” NRA spokeswoman Amy Hunter stated: “Obviously, we are disappointed, as are many of his constituents.” Congressman Diaz-Balart took a Congressional oath of office to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic…so help me God.” Diaz-Balart, along with any elected officials who support “Red Flag Laws,” are a danger to our Constitution and should be removed from office. If not, “…the United States will eventually fly the Communist red flag. The American people will hoist it themselves.”— Nikita Khrushchev, Leader of the Soviet Union

Our government didn’t grant us the right to self-defense. It was given to us at birth by our Creator. The Second Amendment protects our right of self-defense and is an inalienable right, “which God gave to you, which no inferior power has a right to take away” – Constitution signer John Dickinson.
