The mid-term elections are November 6. They are probably the most important elections in American history. The stakes are high – America needs God and His Biblical principles that are sewn into our Constitutional Republic to survive. If the Democrats win the House or the Senate, I can assure you, God and our God given inalienable rights will be gone. Your vote this election is about preserving the greatest governing document in the history of the world. Your vote in November is about saving our republic – it shouldn’t be about your like or dislike for President Trump or any other republican candidate. Only two parties control the game in Washington – if you vote third party, it’s a vote for the Democrats who want to destroy America.
Is it Biblical to take an innocent life? One of many Biblical examples is where David referred to himself as distinct person (“me”) growing in his mother’s womb. David said; “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.” (Psalms 139:13) In regards to the question of abortion, the Bible addresses it with a specific law God gave Moses regarding the health and life of a pregnant woman and her unborn baby: “If people are fighting and hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman’s husband demands and the court allows. But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.” (Exodus 21:22-25) So, how does God feel about the intentional killing of a preborn child? In God’s eyes the intentional taking of an innocent life is murder, except in a true case to save the mother’s life.
The Declaration of Independence (our nation’s foundational document) states, “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life…” The right to life includes the unborn. The majority of Democrats are in favor of abortion and see it as “a woman’s right to choose.” The majority of Republicans favor laws that protect the life of preborn children. Even though I disagree with many of the Republican Party policies, they still embrace more of a Biblical worldview than the Democrats.
On November 6, will you vote for life or death? Remember, if you choose not to vote, or vote third party or Democrat, it’s a vote for death.
